This Print2Pict extension creates a DiskPrint file from the pages you print. Each page will be saved as a PICT resource within the file. You have several options with this extension:
Delete file if incomplete-If the printing process is interrupted or aborts due to error, the partial file will be deleted. The default setting is on.
Save as application-This will create a standalone application file. Useful for sending files to those that may not have the DiskPrint reader.
Save fonts-This option will save bitmap versions of the fonts that are used, up to 50 points in size.
Save italics-This will save a different font if the italics style is used. Useful for fonts that have more varition than a simple slant when italicized. Creates a bigger file however, due to the extra fonts that are created.
Prompt for font families-You will be prompted to determine if a font family should be saved. Useful for not saving common fonts.
Double-sized-This will save the fonts at double the size that they are used in the document. They are still limited to 50 points in size. It will create better looking print using the DiskPrint file, but the file will be larger.
Fewer Fonts-This will only save fonts in multiples of 3-6,9,12 etc. Useful for decreasing the file size if fonts with only 1 point difference are used.
